D-J-Qualls

Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the US. He shot to fame after his appearance as a character in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television such as Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma that he was diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. The treatment was so early that it had a significant effect on the body, which slowed the growth of his body. Since he grew up in poverty, he wanted to achieve financial stability. He said, "I've been living so cheap for so many years and I'm desperate for financial security otherwise the world can seem out of control to me." He also reminisces about his early years to help him stay motivated. It breaks my heart when I hear what DJ says. He says that his ideal character would be dads in the real world and on film. The director doesn't choose him to fill these roles, however, he claims. It's great to someday be a parent himself, when he will be able spend less time on career and devote it to his son.
